The center has been developing partnerships with key global health actors. Also we host events with these partners to promote discussions and collaboration among the actors.

Centre for Universal Health, Chatham House

The Centre for Universal Health at Chatham House aims to help accelerate progress towards the health-related Sustainable Development Goals, with a focus on universal health coverage, health security and societal determinants of health. It takes a multi sectoral approach, engaging in research, convening of stakeholders and informing policymaking.

World Benchmarking Alliance

MURC has joined the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) as one of its allies. The WBA, formally launched in September 2018, develop transformative benchmarks that will compare companies’ performance on the SDGs to accelerate their contribution to the SDGs, providing stakeholders with data and key insights. MURC collaborates with the alliance for participating roundtables and discussions particularly in the area of global and digital health.

The G20 Health and Development Partnership

MURC has joined the G20 Health and Development Partnership as one of its partners. We will collaborate with the partnership for contributing to global health, particularly in the area of promoting digital health (creation of specialized supporting fund), achieving both economic and health impact through digitalization of supply chain and public procurement, and creating innovative financial mechanism.

Stop TB Partnership (UNOPS)

Stop TB Partnership is an international body founded in 2001 to fight against tuberculosis (TB). MURC and Stop TB Partnership signed an MoU in 2018, with the aim of strengthening and accelerating private sector engagement in the fight against TB and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region (the detail is Japanese only).

Cabinet Secretariat of Japan

The center investigated Japanese companies business opportunities in developing countries in the domains related to infectious diseases.
We organized a series of expert committee meetings, conducted desktop research as well as questionnaires and interviews with Japanese companies, and arranged visits of expert committee members to developing countries to study the market situations in those countries (the report is Japanese only).

Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance

Gavi is an international organization that was created in 2000 to improve access to new and underused vaccines for children living in the world’s poorest countries. The center provides consultancy services to Gavi to enhance their private sector engagement in Japan (the detail is Japanese only).
